ZHU ZHU PET GAMES FUN WITH YOUR TOY HAMSTER
TOY HAMSTER HAMMY HIDE AND SEEK
Are the kids already bored with their zhu zhu pets? Well there are tons of fun activities to get the kids to squeeze out much more fun from the zhu zhu pets! Heres a great idea for you today.
Here is how this works:
I call this my special Zhu Zhu Pet hide and seek activity. We have all played hide and seek before and I am sure you know exactly how this works.
Step 1: One child closes his eyes and counts to ten while the other hides the hamsters.
Step 2: The child who has been counting now goes out and try to find the hamster.
Step 3: To make this really interesting the hamster should be hidden no more than 20 feet from the place where the first child is counting.
Step 4: The first child has three minutes to find the hamster as it is only 20 feet away from them.
And don’t worry you can always change the rules to make this interesting for your situation.
The other day, we had some friends over and decided to group everyone into teams. This made is more fun.
We even gave the other team clues telling them whether they were hot and cold.
And don’t forget to keep score. You can always tally this up at the end and give out cookies to the winners.
This simple fun activity can keep your kids entertained for hours….Guess who was the last zhu zhu pet to be found….and she was zhu zhu zooming around on mr Squiggles skateboard too!
TOY HAMSTER TIMED ACTIVITY: A DAY AT THE GO GO PETS RACES
So you were one of the lucky ones who managed to get Zhu Zhu Pets just in time before the Christmas Holidays.
But the question I get from my kids all the time is what else can I do with the Zhu Zhu Pets for more fun.
So they invited a few friends to our place and we tried a few different fun activites with the Zhu Zhu Pets
I call this activity the Timed Activity.
We have a race and see who wins within a specific time period.
At the end I gave away a prize to the winner. A box of melt in your hands M&M’s.
So here is exactly how this activity works:
1. Using the Zhu Zhu pet pieces and the toys you bought, you can set up your own special race course in the house.
2. When placing the car, slide and ramp it is best to place this in an open space.
3. Have a clear finishing line. I usually use scotch tape as it is easy to remove. You could also use a a piece of string.
4. Now my kids and their friends races the hamsters through our own special course. Each one has their own turn.
5. We then find out the winner by keeping a track of each time.
6. Each person has three attempts to go through the course and we take the best times.
7. And the winner gets the delicious M&M’s.
This activity has been so much fun that we have designated race day once a month at home where their friends come along and we have clean fun for hours. To find out the fastest hamster so far see below:
