Since we couldn’t find any Zhu Zhu Pets in our area in Michigan, I asked my daughter to look in her area in Washington state. She promptly called back saying she had found 2 yellow pets at her local Wal Mart. When she went to check out, they refused to sell one to her saying they had been recalled! I have not found any indication that this is true, and I’m wondering if the sale clerk was going to hide it for her own purchase. Has anyone else been given this information? It’s amazing that people will sell these for many times their retail value…should I say unethical? But then there’s the precedence of Cabbage Patch Dolls and Tickle Me Elmo. People are nuts! I would appreciate a reply.

What do you think?It\’s called supply and demand. We live in a capitalist society. More people want the pets than there are pets to go around. It\’s not rocket science that the price is going to go up. People are obviously willing to pay higher than retail prices for them because if no one did, the prices wouldn\’t go up. Stop whining about people \’ripping you off\’ and deal with the fact that you are going to pay more for popular toys that are hard to find. If you don\’t want to pay the inflated price then don\’t buy them, its as simple as that. Grow up.
Grow up……..you haven\’t looked at the big picture. There are over 8,700 of these toys meant for children listed on Ebay…..can you believe that number??? This is GREED……..pure and simple.
I bought two sets the moment my daughter told me about them, and I’m glad I did. money got tight, and I just sold one of the sets for, get this…. $157.50 on eBay by a man in puerto rico.
